Dear Families,

As summer approaches and the school year winds down, we’re excited to share an important resource available to our community during the Summer.

Starting on June 23, 2025 through July 25, 2025, the San Rafael City Elementary School District will be sponsoring free summer meals. These meals are provided at no cost and are available at several convenient locations throughout the district.

Below you’ll find a list of participating sites, meal types offered, and their accessibility:

Another program for the Summer is the SUNBUCK program, SUN Bucks helps families with eligible school-age children to buy groceries during the summer months when kids might not have full access to school meals. Eligible families will receive a SUN Bucks card in the mail starting in early June.

 

If you have questions about your SUNBUCKS card—such as reporting a lost card or updating your mailing address—please call the SUN Bucks Hotline at 1-877-328-8677.

 

Important: Make sure your school office has your correct mailing address on file so your student receives their SUNBUCKS card without delay.

Otro programa para el verano es el programa SUNBUCK. SUN Bucks ayuda a las familias con niños en edad escolar elegibles a comprar alimentos durante los meses de verano, cuando los niños podrían no tener acceso completo a las comidas escolares. Las familias elegibles recibirán una tarjeta SUN Bucks por correo a partir de principios de junio.
